Puisi Penyucian Hati

Tatkala bara api amarah mula menyala
padamkan segera dengan simbahan takwa
kerana amarah itu hasutan iblis durjana

Tatkala dendam kesumat menguasai hati
padamkan segera dengan upaya aqli
kerana dendam itu tanda buruknya pekerti

Tatkala hasad menaklukkan perasaan
padamkan segera dengan rasa keinsafan
kerana hasad itu dorongan syaitan

Tatkala ujub dan dan riyak menanjak
padamkan segera dengan tunduk rajak
kerana kita dijadikan daripada tanah yang dipijak

Tatkala tamak haloba beraja di hati
padamkan segera dengan rasa simpati
Betapa banyaknya yang melarat tidak terperi
